The MYRAA Group is seeking a Junior Maintenance Planner in Toamasina to develop, schedule, and coordinate maintenance plans for equipment and facilities, ensuring safe and efficient operations within their industrial projects.
Preparing and maintaining work orders, maintenance records and reports Prioritising and scheduling maintenance activities Gathering technical information from supervisors and technicians Supporting preventive maintenance and shutdown planning Monitoring the availability of spare parts and materials Coordinating with maintenance, operations and supervisory teams Communicating proactively to help minimise downtime and improve asset reliability
This vacancy is open to local Malagasy nationals Knowledge of maintenance-planning principles and scheduling practices Understanding of equipment maintenance and maintenance-management processes Experience using MS Project is required A technical qualification or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline, would be advantageous. Previous maintenance or planning experience in an industrial, mining, manufacturing or construction environment, as well as experience with P6 or other maintenance-planning software, would also be an advantage.
