Lovasoa Cross-Cultural Competence Center in Antsirabe is seeking a dedicated Interpreter to facilitate linguistic and cultural mediation, supporting communication across its diverse programs and international partnerships.
Ensure accurate and reliable linguistic mediation between Malagasy, French and English speakers. Support communication across the organization's programs, partner exchanges, and daily operations. Provide translation and interpretation support for meetings, training sessions, and student/partner interactions. Ensure clear and culturally sensitive communication. Facilitate mutual understanding between Malagasy staff/students and international partners. Contribute to the smooth running of Lovasoa 4C's Exchange and internship programs. Introduce foreign students to different institutions. Accompany foreign students to their practice place for interpretation and cultural mediation. Facilitate and translate at conferences organized by Lovasoa or by NMS exchange. Cooperate with the Competence team to organize events at Lovasoa. Participate in other activities during low season of student Exchange.
BACC+2 in Anglophone studies, communication or related fields. At least a year experience in interpretation. Experience from cross-cultural settings. Experience from international interpretation (preferred).
